Haze Official Discord is provided to the community to keep players engaged with other community members, provide a place for players to brainstorm character concepts, stay abreast of in-game happenings and scheduled player parties or events, and different kinds of practical player- and DM-driven activities. It is also the system of record for Dungeon Masters to coordinate with Hamlets and Organizations.

As an official extension of Haze, policies regarding Community Standards and Metagaming apply. Revocation of access to Discord, the forums, or the server, may occur if players habitually violate these standards.
Discord & Forum Etiquette:
- Be civil and treat each other with respect
- We're all human beings from all walks of life with different backgrounds and views.
- Whilst you may not agree with everything someone says, please be courteous and respectful in your discussion.
A note about in-character forums:
- Hamlet and organizational in-character (IC) forums are free for your use. Here, you may post upcoming player character-led events, any wares for sale, and offer services. If there are announcements made in public during a town meeting, you may post them here as well.
- The Library / Journal Forum: Take extra precaution to avoid sensitive in-game information while journaling. The journaling forum is for the casual collection of in-character thoughts, ideas, and commentary about other players or events. Be fair warned: these forums are publicly available to all registered members.
FOIG!
- Avoid the FOIG (Find Out In Game!) stick. Discord is an excellent OOC tool for players to ask questions, get help or just talk about their ideas. It is not a replacement for IC actions and it is most certainly not a resource for IC information (beyond event announcements). If something happens in-game and you missed it, don’t ask others about it in Discord. You’ll only get clubbed by the FOIG stick.
