Community Member Misconduct
As members of Haze, we pledge to act and interact in ways that contribute to an open and healthy community. The following are our standards for interaction in-game, on the forums, Discord, and other official Eminence social media:
Examples of prohibited behavior include:
- The use of personalized, sexually harassing language, imagery, demeanor, or advances of any kind;
- Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal attacks involving someone’s gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, sexual orientation, or political belief;
- Public or private harassment;
- Publishing other's private information, such as a physical or email address, without their explicit permission;
- Instances of abusive, harassing or otherwise, unacceptable behavior.
Inform Dungeon Masters immediately if you feel there has been a breach in our standards of conduct. Enforcement actions will vary from private, written warnings to permanent bans from the community.
Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment for our community include:
- Demonstrating empathy and kindness toward other people
- Being respectful of differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences
- Giving and gracefully accepting constructive feedback
- Accepting responsibility and apologizing to those affected by our mistakes, and learning from the experience
- Focusing on what is best not just for us as individuals but for the overall community
STOP! 🛑
If a player messages another and mentions that they are uncomfortable with the nature of conversation (or roleplay, if in-game), then STOP. This is especially important in scenarios that may be sexual, violent, or abusive.
If another player does not consent to the direction of roleplay, then STOP.
Community Member Obligations
- Obligation to Roleplay. Members must roleplay in-character in any area they are designated to do so; i.e., the server, and some in-character forums. You do not have to have a mastery of English, but we do expect you to forgo the abbreviations, and modern references and slang.
